[07:57] BA: ≈D) good evening Zeke, have the winter months treated you fairly thus far?
[07:58] MA: They've been quite mild and relaxing thank you stranger -MA
[07:58] BA: ≈D) hoho, it is good to hear from people
[07:59] BA: ≈D) you sir are the firs one ive talked to yet since the lines went down here
[07:59] MA: You mean like power? Such things aren't a neccesity all you require is a candle and a good poem -MA
[08:00] BA: ≈D) thus was my winter iventory :)
[08:00] BA: ≈D) with the addition of a smooth cut of earl gray
[08:01] MA: Ah sounds heavenly. Tell me though, if power is out how are you conversing with me over a computer? -MA
[08:03] BA: ≈D) ho! good observation, it brings me to my latest bullatin! This just in! ive jerry rigged up an old generator in the basement! as for internet well the village has made headway making repairs to the phone lines. im on dialup :3
[08:04] MA: Ah you are in quite a scrap. Any idea how the power went out? -MA
[08:05] BA: ≈D) the problem is a constant thorn in the side of civilization
[08:05] BA: ≈D) the fact that im in greenland O.-
[08:06] BA: ≈D) but it gave me a chance to catch up on my reading
[08:06] BA: ≈D) ice storms do that
[08:07] MA: Perhaps you could see it as an advantage. As you said you were able to catch up on your reading. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise? I feel we would be better off without these boxes of machinery controlling our lives -MA
[08:09] BA: ≈D) boxes of machinery are easily enough controlled. They day they truly controll us is the day i tell everyone I TOLD YOU ENGINEERING SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PRIORITY OVER HUMAN RIGHTS! when robots rule he world i want to be on their good side
[08:10] BA: ≈D) note i said when not if
[08:11] MA: Are you suggesting that robots will take over the world? Sir I believe you may have been watching to much of that strange movie with that austrian man, what's his name? Arnold Swartzengerman? -MA
[08:15] BA: ≈D) hoho, im not privy to such muscle building machinations(no matter how ripped), but when all is said and done, i will be the one with the wrench and control key to said gearborn army,
[08:16] BA: ≈D) but hey thats in the future, for now im content witht the knowhow to get internet
[08:16] MA: Well when that day supposedly comes I hope to be one that is not ripped to pieces. Or if I am, perhaps in a way I'm more accustomed to, such as having my eyes gouged out or poisoned in a duel -MA
[08:17] BA: ≈D) which reminds me!
[08:17] BA: ≈D) while perusing some old manuals i found this smashing poem
[08:17] MA: Ah, do tell -MA
[08:17] BA: ≈D) thought you of all people would appreciate it
[08:18] BA: ≈D) the brass shines without whos blind eyes may see the signs cogs whir, engines purr filling the production lines, in dark smoke the dark man spoke, of such humming beasts a joke for stray limbs and toothy grins, would bring many to pay his fines
[08:18] BA: ≈D) the macabre style i feel suits you
[08:19] MA: That is a delightfully dark poem. Whom is the author? -MA
[08:20] BA: ≈D) dont know, didnt say. its not often you find mechanically minded poets so i was put off
[08:21] MA: Hm. Perhaps I might find use in that "google" contraption this evening perhaps to find the author -MA
[08:22] BA: ≈D) the poem is definatly something to brew over
[08:22] MA: Indeed, I'll rewrite it on a piece of paper and cross reference it with some of the other works in my collection see if I can't find a connection. -MA
[08:23] BA: ≈D) hoho wonderful
[08:25] BA: ≈D) have you heard much from the others? i need to know if ella got my gift
[08:25] MA: Not at all. I've been busy over the holidays and have yet to hear from them -MA
[08:27] BA: ≈D) well it is definatly good to hear from you
[08:29] MA: Indeed and same to you, you've given me reason to read more into these machines. Perhaps they are capable of providing more civilized entertainment than I previously have experienced -MA
[08:30] BA: ≈D) hoho, some of the things our freinds call entertainment almost make me question the worth of the machine age
[08:30] BA: ≈D) and by almost i mean that i would never question its worth
[08:31] MA: Sometimes I do. But perhaps this poem can give insight to its worth -MA
[08:34] BA: ≈D) aha! i must pester knives! that boy always needs a little cheering up
[08:35] MA: Very well, until we talk again -MA
